_________________________________________________________________ DC FIRE WINS CHAMPIONSHIP GAME 8-3 !! MARCH 30 - DC FIRE Wins championship game. Down 2-0 going into the second, the team came out firing. Goals by Bureau with 4 Candleana with 2. Dickey added 1 and McMahon also had 1 with a penalty shot. Welch had 1 assist and Martin had 3. The goal keeper Tarbell with 27 saves kept us in the game.

in the mid 1990's and has since improved in skill and grown in popularity.
DC FIRE Hockey is comprised of firemen and officers of the District of
Columbia Fire Department, who range in skill level from beginner to advanced.
DC FIRE plays in an adult hockey league at The
Gardens Ice House, in Laurel, Maryland.
As representatives of the Nation's Capital, the DC FIRE Hockey Team plays in several charity games and tournaments both locally and across the country. D.C.'S Bravest hockey team is not a profit making organization, in fact, 98% of all costs incurred by the team are paid for by its members. These members also donate their time and efforts to raise funds to support the team as well as various charities and events we support. The players of the DC FIRE Hockey Team pride themselves on professionalism, sportsmanship and goodwill.
